Vlaamse Vervoersmaatschappij De Lijn
De Lijn (http://www.delijn.be) is the Flemish urban transport company. They operate busses in Flanders and tram networks in Antwerp, Gent and the Belgian Coast. Within this project, they want to learn more about noise from busses, especially on combined tram/bus roads. They ask for low noise street pavements for busses.. De Lijn will bring to the partnership an existing knowledge and a long experience in analysis of the problem. De Lijn will perform tasks in the field of supplying assistance for design of solutions and for field testing and for installing test section for low noise roads and low noise rails. De Lijn will play a role in the dissemination of the results.
