ACCON
ACCON GmbH (http://www.accon.de) offers its services in the fields of environmental noise, industrial noise, machinery noise, building acoustics, and vibration. In addition, it represents the client at hearings, presentations, and negotiations. With 25 employees in offices in Greifenberg, Stuttgart, Cologne and Berlin, we service our clients throughout the Federal Republic of Germany and world-wide. Several of our staff members are officially certified experts and we provide expert support in lawsuits at court, and other testimony. As a result of research projects for clients from the public sector, our work has been used for the technical basis of official standards and guidelines. Several members in the staff of ACCON GmbH lead or co-ordinate national and international standardisation projects. This leadership role helps keep the company at the forefront of the state-of-the-art and supports world-wide standards.
In the joint venture between ACCON GmbH and DataKustik GmbH, ACCON is responsible for the acoustical development and support of the world-wide leading software program for assessing and mapping of environmental noise, Cadna/A (http://www.datakustik.de). ACCON clients have the advantage of this capability and experience in the handling of large calculation projects. ACCON helps to determine the state-of-the-art of noise mapping. ACCON is active in this area with co-operation partners in England, Portugal, Slovakai, Austria and Switzerland.
Therefore ACCON is subproject leader and co-ordinator for SP 1, noise mapping, hot spot detection and action planning. Under the scientific leadership of ACCON noise assessment procedures are developed and tested regarding the practical realization on basis of locally available data.
